PSSDC collaborates with PHCB ... Inducts about 900 new staff
As part of the drive of the Akinwunmi Ambode administration to sustain a well trained and upwardly mobile Public Service in Lagos State, Government recently employed about 900 new staff to provide services in the primary healthcare sub-sector. In order to provide proper onboarding for the new staff of the Board, the Centre has collaborated with the Primary Healthcare Board to induct newly employed staff of the Board. The Induction Programme held between Monday, December 3 and Saturday, December 8,was for about 900 newly employed staff in the medical, paramedical and allied cadres in the primary health care system in the state. The Programme, which ran in three phases of two days each covered topics including Actualising the Vision of Lagos State through the Growth Mindset, Public Service Rules and Regulations, Managing Public Finance, Code of Conduct and Public Service Ethics as well as experience sharing by leading professionals in the various cadres represented.
