PSSDC comes tops at OTCI Service Charter Assessment

In recognition of its commitment, the State Government, though the Office of Transformation, Creativity and Innovation (OTCI), today presented a first position recognition award to the Centre. The event was the 10th year anniversary of the introduction of the Service Charter initiative in the Lagos State Public Service.

Presenting the award, Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Olayinka Muri-Okunola, congratulated PSSDC on its determination not only to set service standards but also the continuous efforts to surpass those standards.

Muri-Okunola, who was represented by the Secretary of the Staff Housing Board, Mr. Abdul Rafiu Fashola, advised Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Government to continue to improve their service delivery standards with a view to contributing to the sustainable realisation of the Greater Lagos aspiration contained in the T. H. E. M.E. S Agenda.

While receiving the award on behalf of PSSDC's Management and Staff, the Director of Public Affairs, Mr Oladiran Ajetunmobi, expressed delight at the recognition, which he said would further spur the Centre into continuous improvement on its service delivery efforts.

Ajetunmobi who represented the Acting Director-General, Mr. Olusola Ayodele Kolawole, further stated that the Centre recognises that quality is a moving target and it would continue to raise the bar in its commitment to the Service Charter promises it made to customers and clients:adding that it was in the enlightened self-interest of the Centre to so do
