DG charges on continuous learning ... as Centre trains junior and intermediate staff

The Director-General, Dr. Senukon Olufunmi Ajose-Harrison, has charged all staff of the Centre to constantly and continuously update their knowledge and skills, if they must contribute meaningfully to the realisation of the Centre's mandate as a capacity building institution.

Ajose-Harrison, who gave this charge while flagging-off two 2-day  capacity building programmes for junior and intermediate staff of the Centre, stated that it was imperative for all Centre's staff because  as providers of learning and development interventions, they must continue to be ahead of current knowledge.

Specifically addressing junior and intermediate staff, Ajose-Harrison added that "as people who support the design and delivery of learning interventions, you must yourselves be shining exemplars of service excellence". He then charged them to renew their commitment towards acquiring adequate knowledge of their schedules so we can together deliver on the Centre’s mandate.

He added that Management would continue to explore opportunities to ensure the creation of an environment that will allow all employees to unleash their potentials such that the Centre's current watchwords of Quality, Professionalism and Pragmatism will assist in  our efforts to contribute to the realisation of the aspirations of the State Government as detailed in the T-H-E-M-E-S Agenda.
