H-C charges staff to deliver quality service

Lagos state Commissioner for Establishments, Training and Pensions, Mrs. Ajibola Ponnle, has said that all Public Service staff must be willing and ready to offer services beyond the ordinary call of duty. 

Ponnle, who stated this in an address to the Management and Staff of the State-owned capacity building institution, the Public Service Staff Development Centre, explained thst the creative disruption characteristic of the 21st Century requires the Public Service must continue to re-skill and re-tool and provide very quality services to the citizenry.

She reiterated the deep interest and concern for continuous capacity building of the State Public Service as a major support for the delivery of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration's aspirations as encapsulated in the acronym T-H-E-M-E-S, adding that PSSDC is pivotal  in the plans of Government to build a virile, proactive and responsive Public Service through capacity building.

While noting that Lagos has always been ahead of the pack in the comity of Nigerian states, she expressed the desire for continuous improvement as a strategic imperative, she chareged both Management and Staff of the Centre not to rest on their oars and be willing to perform beyond the ordinary call of duty.
