Centre organises 3-day Effective Communication & Human Relations Course

A 3-day L & D Programme titled "Effective Communication and Human Relations" took off on Tuesday, November 21 for forty-nine Lagos State Public Servants on HAPSS 07 to 09.

At the opening ceremony today, the Director-General, Mr. SenukonOlufunmi Ajose-Harrison, emphasised the importance of effective communication and cordial human relationships in the achievement of organisational goals. He advised participants drawn from Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to be conscious of the role of effective communication and relationship management in the Public Service, adding that "human and interpersonal relations, expressed through verbal and non-verbal communication modes, have played critical roles in organisational progress".

He also affirmed that "good human and interpersonal relations through correct behaviour and appropriate conduct play an important role in creating the synergy required for the achievement of organisational goals.
