Centre conducts Structured Training for Staff of the State Local Government Service Commission

As part of activities aimed at boosting productivity and performance management, staff in the Unified Local Government Service of the State have received their training for the 2019 Promotion exercise. About 3,000 staff were trained for promotion in the 5-day exercise which commenced on Monday, March 18.

 The training took place at various venues across the State and were for staff on Grade Levels 01 to 16 divided as follows: Performance Improvement Course I (Grade Levels 01 to 06), Course II (Grade Levels 07 to 09), Course III for staff on Grade Levels 10 and 12, Career Enhancement Course I for Grade Levels 13 and 14 and Course II for Grade Levels 15 and 16. 

 The State Government adopted the Structured Training Programme for Promotion as a replacement to the one-shot promotion examinations in 2017.
